Each year at Nexus Group, we set our goals and when we achieved them, we celebrate our achievements together. This past August, our employees including their family members were invited to join our all-expenses paid trip to Vietnam. One of our objective for the company trip is definitely for us to come together as the Nexus Family, to celebrate our success, to appreciate our commitments and most important TO HAVE FUN while creating lasting memories.Â
AND OF COURSE, not to miss to row on the unique Vietnam Buffalo ride & Basket boat through the beautiful canals. The most amazing part of the trip is the fact that you can enjoy an unique performance by the local sailer, so just sit back and RELAX! Don’t worry, you are “equipped” with life jacket and briefed on the safety instruction. REMEMBER not to keep your hands outside the edge of your basket boat. Bring some of towels to enjoy your fun and do prepare to get wet.
From our experience, we would really remind you to travel smarts as you do in any country where haggling over prices is just the normal way to do things. Smile, try to use some Vietnamese and don’t be obnoxious. The Vietnamese are good people.
Post-travel depression is real. Anyone who has returned from a trip knows what I’m talking about. We talk about how amazing and life-changing long-term travel is but seldom address the idea that coming home is harder than leaving. BUT, there will always be something to look forward to, which is, where will we be going NEXT???
