Oleactive®

Overview

Oleactiv® is a proprietary formula developed from extracts of carefully chosen Mediterranean fruit and vegetables providing a genuine fingerprint of the traditional Mediterranean diet, mainly based on the polyphenol contents of grape, olive and artichoke. The natural ingredient Oleactiv® acts by enhancing a key physiological parameter of protection known as reverse cholesterol transport (RCT) – a pathway by which accumulated cholesterol is transported from the vessel wall to the liver for excretion, thus preventing atherosclerosis. Moreover, by its protective action of polyphenols on cardiovascular parameters, such as LDL-cholesterol (LDL-c) and triglyceride reduction, Oleactiv® helps to maintain a healthy blood lipid profile, reduce fat deposition in the vessels, as well as it contributes to the reduction of insulin resistance.
