Overview

Ahiflower oil is freshly pressed from ahiflower seeds. It is superiorly omega-rich, compared to other seed oils. Ahiflower contains complete and balance source of Omega 3 and 6. Besides that, Aliflower oil contains higher SDA and GLA than fish oils. GLA from Aliflower oil can readily convert to DGLA. Increased DGLA formation may inhibit the formation of pro-inflammatory arachidonic acid (AA). Whereas, SDA possesses anti-inflammatory properties and may alleviates LPS-induced inflammation.
