DermaNiA is a compound word in combination of ‘Dermis’ and a botanical name, ‘Zizania latifolia’. DermaNiA makes difference in the level of epidermis and this change leads to an improvement of the epidermis. Zizania latifolia is recorded as an herb used to detoxify the body and cure the facial blush caused by drinking alcohol, according to Compendium of Materia Medica (Bencao Gangmu) regarded as the most complete and comprehensive medical book over whole ancient Chinese history. Tricin, naturally exists as derivatives form and general extraction method has a limit on yield.
