GliSODin® is the first patented technology that combines superoxide dismutase (SOD), derived from melons, with gliadin, which acts as a protective barrier, making the SOD stable within the body. GliSODin® represents an approach to oxidative stress that is entirely different from the administration of conventional antioxidants for example, vitamins. Instead of correcting a deficiency, it activates the endogenous antioxidant defense system by mimicking the body’s response to oxygen aggression by means of an orally administered formulation.
