XanMax contains carotenoids which are responsible for visual acuity or sharpness, contrast sensitivity, light sensitivity and glare recovery. They exhibit protection of macula from harmful UV radiation and free radical damage. Hence it shows prevention from risk of age-related degeneration due to its anti-oxidant properties.
