Dyspepsia symptom
Dyspepsia refers to a medical condition that encompasses various digestive disorders.
Dyspepsia encompasses two distinct forms: organic and functional dyspepsia.
Organic dyspepsia – it occurs as a result of known causes, such as digestive tract diseases, drug use, substance abuse or imbalances from prolonged unbalanced diets.
Functional dyspepsia – It is characterized by unidentified causes, which is the case in the majority of instances. It is commonly believed that this condition arises from a combination of factors including visceral hypersensitivity, gastric motor dysfunction and psychological factors.
H. pylori infection is most commonly observed in children. In the United States, approximately 5% of children under the age of 10 are found to have H. pylori bacteria. The risk of infection is higher in children residing in crowded environments and areas with inadequate sanitation facilities.
