This festive season, Nexus Group had decided to celebrate it differently. We had decided to be the Santa to the children!! Nexus’s team organized an advanced Christmas visit to the children home @ Hiichiikok Foundation Home for Children Care.
We prepared some food, cold drinks, books, chocolates, pens and their Xmas gifts for them. We segregated ourselves and went to talk individually to everyone. Besides, we also conducted some of the mini games to have better interaction with the kids. We were pleased to see that all of them are overwhelmed by our visit.
The moment you enter the home, you tend to have mix feelings of happy and sad at the same time, seeing them playing, fighting with each other, crying, cribbing on certain things, dancing, laughing and so on.. Some of them are really talented that they are not shy to showcase their talents.. some are good at dancing, some are good in arts….
The few hours we spent there will never be enough for them, but we truly believe that the time we spend with those innocent hearts might be able to made them feel that they are not being left alone in this world and they are still being loved by all of us even though they are not under the shelter of their own parents.
To the children: We hope that you guys enjoyed and happy to see us. Good luck in your future. Don’t give up no matter how hard life strike you cause we believe in you.
