Rooibos is a broom-like member of the plant family Fabaceae which grows in South Africa’s fynbos. The tea is a centuries-old herbal infusion otherwise known as red bush tea. It originates from South Africa and has fast become the nation’s favourite caffeine-free tea with its popularity now growing across the world. Our premium rooibos tea made by cutting and bruising the leaves and stems of the plant, fermenting them in heaps and leaving sundry which turns the leaves into their vivid brownish-red or yellowish-red colour.
