In the heart of Malaysia’s vibrant landscape, a story of Orang Asli resilience, culture, and enduring spirit unfolds. On November 11, 2023, we conducted our corporate social responsibility program with the indigenous community at Kampung Bukit Lagong, Gombak.
We had many fun activities together, thanks to all of our facilitators who ensured the program ran smoothly and facilitated a great bonding time. Despite the absence of internet connectivity, we forged strong bonds through enjoyable activities and shared experiences !
For centuries, the Orang Asli have safeguarded Malaysia’s rainforests, nurturing their ancestral lands in harmony with nature. Their sustainable way of life embodies the practices we aspire to. But they are more than land stewards; they’re keepers of a rich cultural heritage.
At Nexus Wise, we have had the privilege of partnering with the Orang Asli, honoring their traditional knowledge of herbs and resources. This partnership empowers their communities, provides sustainable livelihoods, and ensures the preservation of their way of life.
